JavaScript Job: API TEST ENGINEER

• Deep understanding and experience with server connections, methods, requests/response, and payloads.
• Deep understanding of JSON schemas.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in backend/ GraphQL and microservice architecture.
• Expertise in using and creating collections from API specification doc in Postman.

• Develop effective strategies, test plans, and test cases of back-end servers in application architecture.
• Execute manual test cases and analyze results.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Help troubleshoot issues. Ability to find a defect and narrow it down to the root cause.
• Conduct integration tests via APIs and DB retrieval and update validations.
• Write basic JavaScript and Chai library tests in Postman for project QA Sign Off.

• Experience with REST assured API, Java, and TestNG-based framework to contribute to updating the existing automation scripts and adding new ones in existing frameworks.
